I've Been Tagged

I've Been Tagged

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
1. Fact: I love spending time with my family. I have a hard time staying home. I much rather be spending time at my parents house with my mom and sister. Plus my boys have lots of fun there too.
2. Habit: I eat way too much junk food. I eat really good, healthy meals (most of the time) but I always have to have some goodies afterwords. I have to admit...I am addicted to sugar!
3. Fact: I hate the rain. Washington actually kind of sucks! I have lived here my whole life. I've been able to visit a lot of different places, but I have never moved further than 40 minutes from the town I grew up in. Some day, after my kids are grown, I am going to live somewhere where it is warm and sunny for most of the year.
4. Habit: I have a thing for my house being in perfect order. It isn't in perfect order most of the time and that stresses me out. I have a vision of what I would like my house to look like. I need to get over the fact that my house can not be perfect, no matter how hard I try to keep up on all the endless chores. It's just very hard for me to get that fact to stay in my mind.
5. Fact: I love going to the movies. It is always exciting for me when a new movie comes out that looks really good to me. Plus, going to the movies always means I get to spend time with someone close to me. It's usually Brennen, which I lOVE our date nights. Sometimes Dylan and I go "on a date" to a kids' movie. Every once in a while I get to see a "chick flick" with my mom, sisters, or friends. That is always fun!
6. Habit: I love clothes and shoes way too much! It takes all the self control I have to go to the mall and not buy something that I fall in love with. Especially if it is on sale. Brennen is always telling me it's not worth going broke saving money. If I could have endless money, I would have a new outfit for everyday. Since that will never happen...I just have to stay away from the malls. That is the only solution I've found that works for me.
Okay, well there it is. I hope you learned a little something about me. Since I think that everyone I know has already done this tag, I will let it die with me... unless you are reading this and it somehow missed you, please take this as your invitation. You've been tagged!

2007 Family Picture

This is our family picture Jeremy took for us. I know Dylan's hair is a bit crazy, but it was the best we could do that day. Gavin was really sick, we were running on hardly any sleep, and we were lucky to get a shot at all. Thanks to Jeremy we got some good ones.

Gavin

This is one of my favorites of Gavin. Jeremy took this one too.

Dylan

When Jeremy and Jullian were here, Jeremy took some awsome pictures of the boys. This is one of my favorites of Dylan.

Zoo

Cohen, Andrea, Eliza, Gavin, Peyton, and Dylan posing in front of the shark tank.

Point Defience Zoo

Jullian and Jeremy were here for Thanksgiving. We decided to go to the zoo. Kylee and her kids, Kasi Webb and her two kids, Jules, Jeremy and their two kids, and me and my two kids. It was a beautiful clear day, but very cold. I think we all enjoyed our time there together.

Dylan's First Lost Tooth

Dylan lost his first tooth last week. He wiggled it until it was loose enough for me to pull out with dental floss. He actually begged me to pull it out with floss. I asked him if he would wait and let Grandma Zufelt do it, but he wanted to do it "right now"! He was very brave.

Big Boy Bed!

Gavin started sleeping in his "big boy bed". He is doing pretty well there. The boys both woke each other up pretty early this morning though. We tried to put Gavin in the big boy bed last week, but he insisted on sleeping in the "baby bed", which is what he calls his crib. We hope he will get used to sleeping in his big boy bed in time for the baby. Dylan is really excited about Gavin sleeping in his room with him. He got a new matress on top, and that's pretty fun for him.

Halloween Night!

Halloween day was a lot of fun! This picture was taken right before we went to our church for trunk-or-treating. The boys got way too much candy. I'm sure it is enough to last a year. Gavin's got down the words "trick-or-treat" now.

Pumpkin Carving

This year for family night we carved pumpkins! We went to Nana and Papa's house, along with Cameron, Lisa and Merrick, to carve pumpkins, and decorate pumpkin shaped sugar cookies. We forgot to take pics at Nana and Papa's, so we took a picture of our final products when we got home. We had a lot of fun!

Dylan's New Hobby

Dylan has decided his new favorite thing to do (besides riding his bike down the street) is pulling his boat through all the mud puddles down our street. Which is perfect for where we live, since it rains so much!

Gavin all tuckered out!

Cousins

Dylan and Gavin love to go play with their cousins. It's nice to be so close to them. Now that school has started, it's hard for my kids to understand why we can not go down to play as often. All Kylee's kids are in school now. So we usually only get to visit on Wednesdays, which are half days, or weekends. Fun times!

Utah Trip

Gavin and I got to visit Jullian this last summer. We had a lot of fun with her family. Part of our trip was driving almost 5 hrs. to Idaho with them to my niece Alisha's wedding. So we had experienced quite the trip by the time we headed home. Hopefully we will get to go back and visit soon!

Gavin

Gavin has been so fun to have in our family. He loves to give kisses and hugs. He is a people person. He likes to make people laugh. He is very friendly to everyone.
He loves to play with cars, trucks, trains, and he especially loves to read books with these things in them.
He has a thing for Harry Potter. He LOVES to watch the "Potter" movies. For some reason he likes the movies most kids wouldn't like until they are much older. Like Harry Potter, and Transformers. I have no idea why?.?.
We have gotten out our Halloween costumes. We have some that Dylan has used in past years. Gavin loves to dress up in them. He is excited to be a tiger for Halloween.
Gav has become quite the talker. He is always talking about something. If we are in the car, it's him pointing out EVERY single bus, boat, motorcycle, or truck we pass. It makes for an interesting ride
.

Dylan

Dylan is such a wonderful helper. He is growing up so fast that I can hardly believe he is 5 years old now. He (most of the time :) likes to play with Gavin and show him new things. He is very excited about our new baby coming. He is looking forword to being the "really big brother" and sleeping on the upper bunk bed.Dylan likes going to pre-school. He has school on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9-11:30 am. He is doing very well with his letters and numbers. He can count really high now too. He is always very excited to show me what project he made at school. It was really cute, on my birthday last month, he said he would make me something special at school. When I came to pick him up, he had made a necklece out of fruit loops, and he had colored a picture. He came running up to me and said "Mom, I made you this necklace for your birthday"! Just a second later he goes, "Mom...actually, I want to give you the picture instead, is that ok?" It was so cute! He did share his fruit loop necklace with me though.
