Happy Fall Y'all

My little pumpkin patch.

I love the spider webs. They make for a spooky room.

My sweet Gavin.

The kids pictures don't look the same with the web's all over them.

Is it Ok to put web's all over the temple picture.?. It didn't cross my mind until I was looking at this picture on my blog.

I LOVE Halloween! It's right up there with Christmas. I wish I could deck out my place much more than it is. I would love to turn my hard into a grave yard. Is that weird? I think it would be fun. I have all sorts of Halloween magazines with such great ideas. I just need to try some of them. Maybe I can pick a few this year to do, to add to my Halloween collection.
I would like to see your Halloween collections. Take some pics and post them. It's always fun to get some new ideas.

Western Rodeo Parade

My sister Dianna, my mom, my sister Kylee, Gav, Ash, and Brett went to the parade before the fair opened on opening day. It was really fun! The kids were really into it, and could not hold their excitement in. Especially Brett. He was sooo excited about everything that came by. Too cute!

Gavin and Ashlyn waiting for the parade to start.

Kylee and Brett

I love these tractors!
After the parade, we went to the fair. My niece Jackie met up with us. We had fun looking at the animals and eating food (of course). Later, I took them home, because the kids were getting out of school. My sister kept Ashlyn for me while Gavin and I went back to the fair. We met up with Brennen, Dylan, Brennen's Mom, sister, and Dad for more fair fun until about 8:30pm. I really want to go back one more time, just Brennen and I. I am a Puyallup Fair addict!

Do The Puyallup!

Dylan on the dragon roller coaster.

Gavin

Dylan was tall enough for the big rides this year. So he wanted to go on the Wild Cat roller coaster with Dad. He loved it!!

I wish I had a close up picture of their faces.

Gavin and Ashlyn went to the petting zoo. They really loved all the animals.

Ashlyn was really gentle, and not afraid at all of any of the animals.

The train is always a favorite, and usually the first ride we go on.
This year they made me pay too. How dumb is that! Gavin couldn't even ride it without me. I'm still mad about that, can you tell? :)

The boys have ridden this ride together since the beginning of their fair ride days.

Oops again. I guess I need to be more careful of doubling my pics.

The fair is a tradition that we do every year. We always look forword to the yummy (really bad for you) fair food, all the crazy people, the animals, the exibits, the rides... pretty much everything really. The list could go on and on. It was a great day! The weather was beautiful, we stuffed ourselves sick, walked till our feet hurt, and enjoyed every minute of it!

First Day of School

Gavin started Pre-School this year. He LOVES it. He wishes it were every day of the week instead of only 3 days a week. He has 2 friends from church, Tate Mapengo and Faith White, that go to the same school. They are having a good time and are loving being "big" kids like their older brothers.

Dylan is in 1st grade this year at Birney Elem. He is a very smart kid. His teacher, Mrs. Bullock, says he is such a wonderful boy, and is doing very well. Dylan's reading is developing very quickly and he is starting to really enjoy reading. He has more homework this year compared to kindergarten. One new thing is spelling. He actually loves his spelling homework. It's been fun for him to have "spelling tests". Too bad the fun of having a test doesn't last long. I'm glad he can enjoy it for now.

oops...got that one in there twice:)

Ensign Ranch Campout

I'm very sad that this in the one and only picture I got of our family and friends camp out at Ensign Ranch. I had our video camera AND our reg. camera (which is a miracle I remembered even one of them) with us on our trip. We got to our camp site pretty late the first night. It was dark out. So the next morning I got our video camera out, and realized I had a full card. So I was bummed about that. I went to get out our camera, and all I could find was the case. I knew the camera was in the case when we left home. I looked several times in the truck for the camera but couldn't find it anywhere. The last day, we were loading up the car, and there it was hiding under the back seat. One of the kids had been playing in the truck and got a hold of it. So, here you go...the one picture of our trip, the ride home. I suppose it's better than nothing, right? I think so.
