Cookie time

Gavin and Ashlyn helped make choc. chip cookies. Dylan is the one who was begging for cookies, but he ended up somewhere besides the kitchen. It was fine though, because I don't think there was room for any more kids. Ashlyn and Gavin loved puring the ingredients into the bowl, and getting a good taste at the end of what they had made.

There is the famous "cheeeese".

Dash Point

Dylan, Colby, Gavin, Andrea, Peyton, and Tate.

Jacob (Carson's friend), and Carson building a sand castle.

The kids all had a great time building sand castles.

Ashlyn, and Peyton.
Ashlyn wants to be lovey dovey to Payton, but Payton was not having it.

Teri, Kylee and I took the kids to Dash point. We try and get there a few times every year. This was our second time going this summer, and we had a great time. We spend pretty much all day there, until the tide sends us home. I have many memories going to Dash Point as a child, and I hope I can make memories for my kids too.

These are the other cards I made while on our "scrap booking retreat". I wish I had a few extra days there to make cards. I was having a blast experimenting with new stamp sets and "cricut" cartridges. Too much fun! I don't get the time I would like to spend on cards at home. I guess I need to start back up my card making days with my family. Then I will get my fixes until next year's retreat.

Sun Set Beach

One of our fav things to do as a family is go to Sun Set Beach. We are very lucky that Brennen's Aunt and Auncle live right on the beach, and let us come down any time. The tide was up, so instead of walking the beach, the kids put their feet in the water, and watched the boats go by. It was a very hot day, so the breeze was a perfect way to cool us down at the end of the day.

Summer time roses

I took these at Brennen's Aunt and Auncle's house. I thought they were so beautiful.

A Weekend Away...with the girls!

Adreanne, Tiffany, Dacia, me, and Gina

Us all busy eating, scrapbooking, cardmaking, and lots of talking.
The table doesn't look like there is any sort of organization at all, but there must have been because we accomplished a lot.

One of the cards I worked on.

Joseph and Alex
Us girls rented a house up in Issaquah for 3 days 2 nights. We spent the whole time together scrapbooking, and card making. Both nights were very late nights, 2am and 4:30am. So we are all exhausted, but at the same time rejuvenated. It was a great time of relaxation, laughter, and just plain fun!

Concert at the park

We've been going to the concerts at the park down in Puyallup with my sister Kylee and her family. This night featured "Elvis" and a band that I think were called Peaches and Cream. They were really good, and kept the kids and us adults entertained for a couple hours. It was a great family night of fun!
