Gavin turned 5!!

Gavin is such a sweet heart. He loves people and tries to make everyone happy. He likes to make friends. He even waves to people driving by and says hi to strangers. (good or bad??? He really is just being friendly. I told him not to talk to strangers the other day and he had the most shocked and confused face. Like, why would we not talk to strangers??)
He is such a blessing to our family. I love watching him grow and learn.

A Day At The Beach

Summer 2010-Dash Point

Fabric/ felt flowers kept me busy today!

They are so easy and fun to make. I just used materials that I already had at my house.

There are a lot of really cute felt flowers online that I would like to try and make as well!

Look on Etsy or google felt flowers--there are some really cute ideas out there!

Camping-part 2

The second day of our camping trip we went to a beach in West Port. It was so much fun!! The kids could have played forever there. It was really relaxing sitting on the beach with Brennen as the kids played and had fun.

After the beach we went to town and looked at all the charter boats and their fresh catches of the day. We enjoyed a dinner there before driving home.

We can't wait to go back for Labor Day weekend!

Camping- part 1

We went camping at Twin Harbor State Park in West Port last weekend. We had fun being away from our daily rituals. Being away together, just the 5 of us, doesnt happen offten enough. I loved it!

We bird-sat Green bean and Kelly for some friends of ours. Ashlyn really liked them a lot (for the first couple days atleast:) Isn't that how it always works.?.

A few of Teri's friends went out to dinner and a movie to say good bye to her. She and her family moved to California. :( We look forward to seeing her and her family soon, when they come to visit!
