Since the 4Th is so busy for boating, we decided to go on the 3rd. It was a very hot day, I think about 90 or so, so it was a great day to be at the beach.
Ashlyn loves spraying the water bottle, which is great to cool her down on a hot day.

The boys had a great time swimming and playing in the sand.
Dylan was very brave and swam out pretty far all by him self. That is an accomplishment for him. I would not consider him a dare devil in any way. Which is a good thing, for the most part.
We forgot our beach toys, so our hands became shovels. It worked fine, and the kids didn't seem to care a bit. We did just happen to have a bucket in the back of the van, and that was good for bring water to make sand castles and a little swimming pool of water.
Our little swimming pool! It kept the kids busy for quite awhile digging and bringing water in to full it. We didn't get a pic of our sand castle...a tradition when we go to the beach. We had a great time! Thanks Dad and Mom for a great day on the boat, and time with the family!
