I came across this old wood paned window on Craigs list. Thought it was so cool! I called to arrange a time to look at it. It's so much bigger than I pictured. They said it's 4'x6' but in person that seemed to much larger than my tape measurer showed me at home! They were selling it for $20, I got it for $17. I figured I would take it home and if it didn't work, I could sell it. I fell in love with it once I started cleaning all the nasty mold, moss, paint and who knows what else;) I wanted to use it for our headboard in our bedroom but our room right now makes that impossible. So for now, it will remain on our wall down stairs. I think it looks pretty sweet there too!Thursday, April 15, 2010

You are so creative. I love the antique look!
I love it, Kara! The fun thing is there's so much you can do with something like that.
so sad..by the time i got the cragislist link it had expired!! :(
It looks totally awesome--you'll be able to switch it around and use it for years! (although, if you ever get tired of it you know who to give it too ;)
Love, love, love old windows. I have one glass-less one I'm using as a frame and another one hanging out in my storage closet until I figure out what to do with it! Yours looks great. How fun.
